Atlantic Highlands Harbor Reconstruction

Atlantic Highlands, NJ

Project Involvement: Lead electrical designer for $15M harbor rebuild following Sandy. Tasks included inspection of damage, coordination of electric service repair with the electric company, specification and placement of new shore-power pedestals for each boat slip, estimation of expected electrical load, sizing and placement of electrical distribution panels, sizing and placement of new site lighting, wire & conduit sizing and routing, providing CAD assistance to the design team, providing assistance with the fueling station design, and preparing and coordinating bid drawings and specifications

ENERGY REDUCTION PLAN for EVESHAM WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANTS

Evesham, NJ

Project Involvement: Specified energy saving measures and prepared Energy Reduction Plan documents to obtain rebates from the New Jersey Clean Energy incentive program. Tasks included site assessment, reviewing energy bills, specifying energy efficient lighting and occupancy sensors, specifying high efficiency motors and VFDs, and preparing rebate and bid documents.

2MW Roof Mounted Photovoltaic Array

Mt. Laurel, NJ

Project Involvement: Designed a 2MW roof mounted photovoltaic array with (4) 500kW inverters. Tasks included panel layout, wire and conduit sizing, equipment selection, pad layouts, electric service interconnection, preparation of bid drawings and specifications, and shop drawing review

NFI Photovoltaic Arrays

Vineland, NJ

Project Involvement: Assisted with design and construction oversight of 2 MW and 1 MW ground mounted photovoltaic arrays, and a 2.7 MW roof mounted photovoltaic array. Tasks included panel layout and wiring, equipment selection, preparation of bid drawings, and shop drawing review during the construction phase

Plainfield Police Department Emergency Generator

Plainfield, NJ

Project Involvement: Provided an emergency backup power system for the Plainfield Police station. Design tasks included sizing and placement of a 300kW diesel generator, wire sizing and routing, specification of a 800A automatic transfer switch switchgear, specification of a battery backup UPS for the 911 call center, integration with existing electrical equipment, and preparation of bid drawings and specifications

Clifton Municipal Emergency Generator

Clifton, NJ

Project Involvement: Designed complete emergency backup power systems for four city owned properties. Design tasks included sizing and placement of diesel generators up to 400kW, wire sizing and routing, specification of automatic transfer switches up to 2000A, integration with the existing electrical equipment, and preparation of bid drawings and specifications

Hall Stadium Sports Lighting

Union, NJ

Project Involvement:  Designed a sports lighting system for a little league field. Tasks included performing site inspections, placing electrical equipment and light fixtures, sizing and apply for a new electric service, routing wire and conduit, and preparing plans and specifications

Atlantic Highlands Municipal Building Electrical Upgrades 

Atlantic Highlands, NJ

Project Involvement: Provided inspection services during the construction phase. Tasks included meeting with clients and contractors, preparing punch lists and payment documents, and inspecting the installed computer network and security system equipment

Landfill Expansion Electrical Design

Salem County, NJ

Project Involvement: Provided electrical design support for a landfill cell expansion. Tasks included routing and sizing power and communication wiring, designing control systems, heat tracing exposed piping, and designing one-line diagrams for interconnection with the existing electrical service

Burma Rd and Phillip St Street Lighting Upgrades

Jersey City, NJ

Project Involvement: Designed improved street lighting to conform with city ordinance. Tasks included measuring the existing lighting conditions at night, preparing a simulation of the existing conditions in Visual, designing and simulating an improved lighting layout to meet the established standards, and communicating the results with the city and electric company

Graphic Design Assignments

Project Involvement: Created marketing material for company use. Tasks included designing & illustrating a poster for Habitat for Humanity partnered event, photographing completed projects, and joining the committee tasked with redesigning the company website
